A weighted keyboard, a compact controller and a synthesiser solve different problems. We start with your room, your existing set-up and whether you want to practise classical pieces, write songs, control software or build sounds from scratch.
Where possible, we encourage a proper session with headphones or monitors. A few minutes with the keybed and controls tells you whether the instrument will become part of your routine.

We are happy to explain basic connections and offer practical suggestions for stands, pedals, cases and monitoring. The best first set-up is the one you can return to easily.
